Your first 24 hours in Whiteout Survival set the foundation for your entire journey. Focus on completing the tutorial missions first - they provide essential resources and unlock core game features. Don't skip the guided tasks as they teach you fundamental mechanics.

Immediately join an active alliance. This is crucial because alliance help speeds up building upgrades by up to 50%, and you'll gain access to alliance gifts and events. Look for alliances with 50+ members and consistent activity in the chat.

Prioritize upgrading your Furnace to level 5 within the first day. The Furnace is your main building and unlocks other structures. Use all your speedups on Furnace upgrades early on - don't save them. Early game speedups are abundant, and fast progression helps you catch up to active players.

Complete all daily missions and claim the beginner login rewards. These provide hero fragments, resources, and gems that are difficult to obtain later. Don't forget to collect your mailbox rewards after each milestone.

After reaching Furnace level 5, follow this upgrade priority: Furnace > Barracks > Hospital > Resource Buildings. The Furnace always comes first because it gates all other building levels. Never let your Furnace fall behind.
